Carl C Icahn Charter School (The)

I have attended this school from grade 3 to 8. I have graduated from this school and am now in the 10th grade. Carl c. Icahn Charter school has done a wonderful job in preparing me for high school. My teachers never gave up helping me achieve my goals and be all that i can be. Even though i have graduated, I can still go back to visit and get advice about my school work from my previous teachers. I am proud to say that I attended Carl C. Icahn charter school

My son had some struggles at school since he started first grade, He started at a Public elementary school until the 3rd grade. He never failed a grade, but he always had gaps in math and writing. It seemed that he was just passing the grades but not learning, so we decided to try private school and that year he did worst because of all the gaps he already had. So we kept searching for better environment and learning experience for our son and we found it, CARL ICAHN CHATER SCHOOL. After he started there at fifth grade he had a hard time meeting the demands of the class work at the beginning of the term for at least more then half of the year. He had so many gaps in Math and Writing that we thought he would have to repeat the grade to fill them, however with the great after school program for kids not meeting grade level and our help, my son was able to meet grade level and passed and from then on he has not looked back. He is doing so great this year that is unbelievable, we are so happy for him, and he look so happy too that we really thanks this school for his success. Thank you Carl Icahn Chater School. Keep the great work you are doing with our kids.

I think this school was the best thing that could have happened for me and my girls.They have attended Ichan since 2002 and have soared academically.The teachers and staff are the most caring I have seen anywhere. When I think about what would have happened if this school wasn't built when it was ,I get very sad..The public schools in the bronx are a disgrace. The learning that goes on at Carl Ichan can only be compared to that of schools for academically gifted students.I would recommend this school to everyone.

Carl C. Ichan is the best school in the Bronx. I am amazed at my 5 year old son singing the continent song and identifying that we live in North America! He's very enthusiastic and loves doing homework. Mr. Litt is truly a dedicated and devoted educator that genuinely cares for our kids. Our school has professionals working diligently with our kids and I feel so secure and happy that my son attends Carl C. Ichan. The school is extremely serious about our children's future and for that I thank all the teachers, administrators and staff for all their hard work and dedication. Our statistics and our high level of educational goals puts Ichan School in the forefront as a leader of excellence. I am extremely proud of my son and his school. Thank you for the Ichan School.
