Manalapan High School

I have to say I don't agree with the posting a parent sent in(March 2008) which said that their child has not ver little at Manalapan HS. I have a daughter who is a junior there. She is doing very well. She has good SAT scores and has excellent grades. She is also very involved in many of the sports Manalapan has to offer. She also has met great friends who are also doing very well and are being accepted into great colleges. Every school has its issues with drugs and teachers who aren't the best. I have to say I have been happy with the education my daughter has gotten there and I look forward to her succeeding in her college years.

Manalapan High School has come around throughout the beginning of the 21st century. With a new principal and a completely transformed guidance office, the students at MHS are learning in a safer an healthier environment. School officials have cut down the amount of bad influences, such as drugs and violence. There are now smoke detectors all over the school and cameras in nearly every hallway. Although the school has come a long way, there is still a need for improvement. The athletic program is extremely important to many Manalapan High School faculty and students, but with that said academics need to come first. Manalapan High School is a great place for students to develop their individuality, but the faculty needs to continue to work on enforcing the importance of education.

MHS will teach your children a lot! Most of the seniors get into the college of their choice, as the academics in this school are wonderful. Of course if a student is constantly late disciplinary action should be taken. When a student is late once or twice a year, NO action is taken at all. Each child is encouraged to do their personal best without being labeled as the smart or dumb kids. Most of the teachers are highly skilled and work hard to bring out the best in each child. If you want to succeed in life, send them to Manalapan High School. Besides my own children, I have nieces and nephews who have graduated and that are still there, and all will have very easy lifestyles due to the wonderful education at this great high school.

Manalapan High School will teach your children very little. The curriculum is surrounded by the teachings of the holacaust. The faculty concentrates on disciplinary actions for tardiness and other infractions, and spends little time pressing for academics. If you want your child to fail in life, send them to Manalapan High School. Believe it or not, this is my honest opinion, as I have had three children all pass through this school and they will most likely have difficult lifestyles due the lack of education afforded at this institution.
