I am crazy about this school. The teacher to the student ratio is great. The teacher's all great. Friendly astmosphere. Great communication between parents and teacher's. The principal is Awesome,Friendly,OutGoing, And a lot of FUN. My husband and I have been thinking about moving but, we just can't seem to move away this school. I would recommend this school to everyone.
My daughter has been at Clyde Hamrick for 3 years and she absolutely loves it. My son has been looking forward to attending Kindergarten there. My daughter's teachers are amazing and supportive to both the students and the parents. 3rd grade was difficult for her due to undiagnosed ADD she does not have the physical hyperactivity so we were not positive if this was the problem. Her teacher really helped us out by giving us an inside look at her struggles throughout the day. I love this school and we may be moving out of the district and it really makes me sad to think that we will be leaving such a loving, nurturing environment for our children.
My oldest son attended Hamrick and did very well. My youngest son wll be going into 1st this year and attended kindergarten here as well. Over all I think things went well, however I feel that the class size for kindergarten was way to large--27 children. It makes it hard for the teacher to focus on the individual child and their specific needs.
My son attended kindergarden at clyde hamrick and he loved the school and the staff. He attended Seckman Elemantary during the summer and cant wait to go to Hamrick for school again. The teacher (mrs.young) was great and he learned alot more than I expected him to. They kept the parents informed and allowed us to help out and attend everything. I am very pleased with Clyde Hamrick and just wanted to stated my opinion about the school. You are all great thank you.
