My child has been going to this school for 5 years. It has been year round, then 9month, back to year round, and back to 9 month, now year round... there has been atleast 5 principals since he started kindergarten, the fourth one recruited every great teacher that taught at Kay Carl to go with her to the next school she went to. Apparently they hired her to stabilize this school and after doing so, she took all the teachers she had just trained and left, with the clark county school district blessing. My son has a learning disorder, they don't even offer tutoring anymore. Besides one great 2nd grade teacher, I have no faith left and am looking at other options.
My children have been attending Kay Carl for 3 years now and I am nothing but pleased. The school is always focused on academic improvements. They have afterschool fitness programs with a superstar PE teacher. Parent involvement is amazing and the PTA sponsors many reading programs, teacher training and I could just go on. A Plus to the staff and Principal.
