New principal and vice principal team has opened the door to more parent communication. Just two years ago concerns about teachers were not addressed and discipline was not followed through with. The open doors this year have been nice and the students who used to cause a lot of problems are FINALLY being held accountable for their actions.
This school finally has an administration that welcomes and listens to parents. 08-09 has brought a welcome change and two complimentary school administrators that embrace parents.

I have 3 kids. 2 went to this school and 1 graduated and went to West Hills. I can see a huge diffence now that 2 of my children attend another school. I am much happier with the teachers@ their new school. The scholastics have gone downhill at Oaks. Rio Seco, Cajon Park, and Sycamore Canyon are much better now, than Oaks.

My child has been going to this wonderful school since first grade. He is now in seventh. I struggled with whether of not to send him to Parkway Middle at first because of the diversity in classes at Parkway. After visiting Parkway, I was thankful for our sheltered and caring teachers and office staff at Carlton Oaks. The administration, teachers and staff always try to bring out the best in each child. The teachers and staff give of their own free time for afterschool extracurricular activities and the parents are very involved. My son is in the gate program and the teachers are terrrific.
