Teachers not really into teaching, students not into challenging themselves, many of the boys must want to be in WCW since they love to fight. No real effort by students to get out of the same Gibbs label: education not all that important.

Gibbs used to be a great school. Recent poor leadership has left the school with very little discipline and low teacher morale. The new principal seems to lack a personality that is conducive to being a good leader. Teachers are very caring but seem frustrated.
Gibbs used to be an outstanding school in both academics and athletics. Since the retirement of Mr. Taylor, the school has gone straight down hill. Discipline is just about nonexistent and teachers are really depressed. What happened to strong administrators? We need one again!
totally agree with a few of the other reviews... gibbs sure was a disapointment for me too. i just knew if my child survived middle school at holston that gibbs would be 'home' again but not the case.. some of the teachers are for sure in diar need for training. some act so imature that its hard to say which is teacher and which is student...disapointed parent
