Dr. Brown is a great place to be!! It has faced some challenges and is now rising to become one of the counties best schools. The school is now under great administration... Charles Counties Vice Principal of the year Mrs. Debbie Brown and new and a new and very involved and focused Principal Mr. Marvin Jones. The school is staffed with many professional and highly qualified teachers ; young and seasoned. The past 2 years have brought manght many after school activities to students and parents. tudents and their families. Although the school is mostly open space; like many schools in the county the schools teachers maintain an environment where students can feel comfortable when learning.While parent/family involvement is low, the schools teachers efforts and quality provide a friendly family like atmosphere.

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Brown this year. My daughter is in Kindergarten and I must say, I am so happy at all that she has learned this year. I absolutely love the principal and the staff at Dr. Brown. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. The school is very active with the students during school hours and outside, promoting the school with school spirit days, fundraisers at McDonald's and Chick-fil-et. I love Dr. Brown and so does my daughter.

Hopefully with the new Principal this school will turn for the better. The facility is very old and they have the open classroom setting. Meaning everyone can hear everything going on in the classes surrounding. It's like being in a maze. Pretty bad to cram all the children in this extra small building.
