this school is edgecational ,nice fun students, and u will meet friends have wonderful teachers to help u through the year.

My step-daughter recently immigrated to the U.S. within the last six months. I have been impressed by the school with help in her learning to speak English as a second language. She really enjoys the variety of programs that they offer. I also am pleased that they know my little girl well. They have several programs that are fantastic: For Kids Only; Fast Forward; and a jazz/hip hop dance class she really enjoys. Her teachers Ms. Bergeron & Mrs. Borgonzi have been helpful and have been great with the communication.

My daughter attends the Whittier and although it is listed as a school in need, my child is doing very well, she gets all A's and B's in her report card, in my opinion. The parents should get more involved with their child and their assignments. This will help the students to bo a better job if someone is interested in what they are doing each day. This will also help them to be more responsible for their work. The only thing I think the Whittier should offer is extended programs for parents who work until 5.00 pm.

I am a Mother at the whittier..i don't like the lack of communication of the staff. I did have postiive experiences with the teachers, however communication with students parents of preschool and kindergarten to 1 st grade is really lacking to say the least. I and several other parents have faced serious doubts as far as the nurse and the way they handle mistakes on their part. The women whom works the front office is very unfreindly..and as a parent that is not acceptable, I am thrilled to get my daughter out as we are moving. Good luck to any new parents, I am serious when i say think twice about this school.
