Homestead Elementary School

Both my children attended Homestead. The principal is very hands on and very professional. She has set the bar high for her staff and in turn the students are the beneficiaries of this. We have contemplated moving but will wait till our youngest has graduated from Homestead as this school is outstanding! Not all schools in the same school district are equal, and they've received a private education in a public school.

This is my daughter's 4th year in the school and have been happy with this school. Right mix of academic focus and other social activities. Staff and teachers are very friendly.

My son recently began Kindergarten at Homestead and I am similarly thrilled as the other parent review states. Mrs. Williams seems to be a fantastic teacher and the principal is very knowledgeable and hands-on, very parent-oriented, much more than I had expected. My son attended a private Kindergarten last year and I am hoping that as the year progresses, he will be tested and pushed to excel to his abilities.

My son started here the tifirst year it opened as a kindergarten student. I moved from Nap. Dist. 203 and was hesitant to leave such a great district. I have been nothing less than thrilled with the school and faculty. Quality teachers, quality programs and sincere caring for the students by the faculty, parents, and community. Parental involvement is among the highest I have seen. I am confident my children are getting a good education at Homestead.
