My children attend BCS and while the experience has been pretty good there are a few things that we are not thrilled about. This year they decided to reduce the staff and a few classes are now jammed packed. 21-22 students in one class. There was no notice of this to any of the parents. For a private school we expected to remain at the 12-15 students per class we started with. This has caused a lack of one-on-one time . The lunch schedule changes so often and we never know if hot lunch will even be served. In addition to the tuition we are constantly being asked to contribute additional money & we do feel pressured. Other then that the school and teachers are great.
I have all four of my children in BCS schools and have only praises for the faculty and administration. The principals and the new superintendent are top notch, too. My children have been challenged academically and taught the values that matter to me. Also, the dress code is kept simple and therefore relatively inexpensive. They work hard to keep tuition as low as they can so that more families can afford to give their children a christian education.
Our child had the pleasure of attending BCS from K-8. We could not have been more pleased with the staff, academics and moral and spiritual excellence of the school at both campuses. Our child was nutured and encouraged by seasoned teachers who were both kind & loving. We were always treated with respect and are grateful to have had this amazing experience with BCS. Wonderful school, Awsome teachers. They not only teach with compassion, but you can tell they care for the students. In an enviorment like that students can't help but learn. They not only are taught book smarts but also how to treat others as God would have you treat them. An important lesson needed in today's world. Great academic program. Our daughter loves her school!
