My son is in mainstream and requires services. The district does not have a good system when it comes to kids with needs. The district does well when it comes to smart kids, but average or kids who needs help and services, it's a consistent battle. The district is still has a mentality that worked 10-20 years ago, however the district needs to learn that the education law is changing. The No Child Left Behind is great for families. The district needs to learn to understand that all our children need to progress when attending schools.
