I love Barnhart. My daughter is in Kindergarten and her teachers really care about her education. I am very impressed with this school.

This year both of my children started attending Barnhart Elementary. One is in Kindergarten and the other is in 3rd. I belive that their teachers are extraordinary. They go the extra mile to make sure kids understand their lessons before they move on. If my son's third grade teacher notices a child is lacking in a particular area she will send home suggestions for the parents on how we can help them as well as asking for permission to enroll them in special tutoring program that the school hosts. My daughter's kindergarten teacher sends her home with so much enthusiasm to learn that she even wants to practice her words, numbers and patterns on the weekend. I highly reccommend Barnhart and I do not do that lightly, my kids previously attended a military base school. So let's just say Barnhart measures up!
My daughter has attended Barnhart since the 1st grade and while I don't particularily like a few of the teachers, it would appear that most teachers make the students their priorities. The thing that most parents have to realize is that your child's education is dependent upon how much both you and your child are involved in the process. If there are issues then address them, and don't ease up until the issues are fixed. Overall my experience has been with bad parents and not necessarily bad teachers. Overall our experience with Barnhart has been positive and I feel as if my child is getting a quality education.
