My son has gone to Heir Force Community School for the past two years. Although there is no playground for the students, and they do have recess in a parking lot... there are a things that are a lot more important to my child's education other than their recess time (and where they spend it). For the record, they play outside any day that the weather is appropriate. On in climate days, they do play inside in the cafeteria. The school even teaches the children Tai Bo. This school is a God send to the Lima City School system. The teachers care about all the children... they know each one by name (as does the administration & other staff), and go above and beyond for the Children. They have a wonderful Music program, and their Spanish (yes, they start teaching Spanish in Kindergarten) teacher is amazing! This is a 5 star school!

Heir Force doesn't have an Art or PE program. There is not a playground for the elementary students. Kids get to play outside in the parking lot one week a month during recess, if that. I am not sending my kids to a charter school again.
