My son is in his second year at Forestbrook Middle and I can't rave enough about how much they have been able to changehis outlook on going to school. We even see it in his grades!
As a teacher at this school, I can assure you there are no 'gang problems' here. There have been a lot of changes in the past two years, but they are truely made with the students' best interest in mind. When you are used to a certain system, changes can be frustrating, but that doesn't mean they are bad changes. There have been tons of new extracurricular activities added, our safety has been greatly improved by locked classroom doors and tested emergency procedures in place; overall, this school is fabulous. Every institution has some wrinkles that could be ironed out, and I agree, favortism is one of them. But, the place to vocalize that concern is at the school, not on a website that has had 16 reviews. We have 1100 students a year, sixteen is nothing.

forestbrook is the most amazing middle school ever. im a cheerleader there who shows school spirt, loves the teachers, and loves the saftey rules there.
FMS has taken a turn for the worst for the 2007/2008 school year. We've been with this school 3 years. There are alot of drugs, alot of cliques and among the administration alot of favoritism. The favoritism is mainly given to the students who excell in sports and the worst behaved students. The rest are swept under the rug. Very little opportunity for students to bloom as individuals. A very rigid system in place now.
