Mrs. Gildean is Shady Grove's Principal. She is a leader who cares. She truly looks to improve all aspects of our children's education experience. She makes her self available for all who ask. The EC department at Shady Grove is staffed with wonderful caring people. They are truly dedicated to help those with LD succeed in their education as well as in their whole well rounded life. The teachers and support staff truly know our children and take an undeniable interest and stake in our children's ability to succeed as well as surpass goals.
The school is excellent, I recently moved from another state and have found the academic requirements pleasantly challenging. The parents are very involved (I have never been to a PTO meeting with so many people!) and the teachers work VERY hard. I am thrilled.
Shady Grove is an excellent school. It has the best staff that is dedicated to their students. I'm glad to say that my children attend there
Great atmosphere, dedicated teachers and staff...ranked as a 2002-2004 'School of Excellence'. Great community involvement and a small town atmosphere inside an up and moving neiborhood.
