My child is a student at Mansion and has been their for 4 years. I think this is a very good school. However we have had issues with bullying that i have discussed with the teachers and as nice about that the teachers are they do nothing about helping the situation especially when its only going on in their classroom. The school does offer bullying programs but what they need to do is bring in the parents of the child that is doing the bullying and discus the issue more appropriatly with those parents and the school needs to inlist consquneces similiar to the attendence consequences.

I do not think that this school deals with important matters, like major bulling, but with smaller things that are far less more important. Sometimes, I feel this. I think the principal does not pay attention to the things far more important. I think this school really deserves a bit below average score.

Mansion Avenue School rates a 10 in our book. I have 2 children (21 and 9) who have been through or is in Mansion Ave. School and it is an overall 10 from the Principal to the Staff, the PTA, the School Superintendent, etc.
I agree in regards to a better child study team. My son has an articulation probelm with speech and I was not even granted an interview after several phone calls. I seeked out to a licensed speech therapist and come to find out the the delay in helping him with his speech will only delay him throughout all of his schooling with regards to reading properly. On another note, to save a few bucks merging schools created nothing but hardship on the parents.
