Creekside has a lot of work to do academically and most teacher's lack the enthusiasm to inspire kids to learn. The classes are extremely crowded and creativity is lacking.

I think that this school is a great school and my children love it!they love all the teachers their!

This is a great school in a solid school district. The teacher's definitely care about the success of the students and the communication is great with the parents. The only negative is that the class sizes are a little large due to the growth explosion in the area but they do have an assistant for each class and are building new schools.

I have 3 children in PSD & am very disappointed in all of PSD schools. The reading & math curriculum was changed after we moved to Plainfield when my oldest was entering 1st grade. I was very naive and trusted that this curriculum change would be beneficial. Wrong! My child is now in 8th grade and struggles to pass math. He reads at a 5th grade level and his spelling is atrocious! The math program bounces around from subject to subject, never giving them the chance to master anything. Only a few weeks spent on learning the basics (especially multiplication & division). The reading curriculum is the equivalent of English as a whole language. They do not teach phonics or give spelling tests with the exception of a handful of teachers that choose to. If you are looking for quality education, stay clear of Plainfield!
