We loved this school. I just think it is strange that drugs and wealth are not mentioned as that is all I heard about before we got there.

I graduated from CHS, class of 2004 and I loved it. I grew up in Coronado and all of their schools are the best. The sports teams are wonderful, plenty of college prep and AP classes available, as well as a sense of community within the school. To top it off it is located on the beautiful island we locals like to call Paradise!

CHS has been a great challenge for my children. Many teachers are movitated and go the extra mile, even if they aren't paid a comparable wage. They lost a good handful of quality teachers last year to retirement and those moving on. AP classes are way too crowded. Sports of every kind offered. Counselors helpful and available -- as well as the principal. One front office worker tries her best to put people off. Well worth the expense of Coronado living!
