My son is entering Kinder this year and I'm looking forward to a great experience for us. I have an older son who attended Casillas and I know first hand what a great principal we have. Mr. Damico is very approachable and genuinely concerned for students, parents, staff and the direction of the school. We are lucky to have him and the teachers that are there.
We love Casillas! The Principal, Mr. Damico, is wonderful! He is so approachable and makes you and your children feel important. He listens and handles any issues you may have. My son was in Kindergarten in 2006-2007 and did great! Loved the teacher and we can't believe how much he has learned in a year! We are looking forward to 1st grade!
Both of my children attend/attended Casillas. My son is now in high school and brings home A's and B's and my daughter is in 6th grade and brings home mostly A's. I credit Casillas for their curriculum and great teachers. The principal, Mr. Damico, is another great asset to this school. He is always approachable and willing to talk. Joseph Casillas Elementary is a great school by far!
