This school is not very helpful toward parents. The principal is useless and also they allowed my 3 yr old in the pre-K program to run out of the building towards the buses yet failed to inform me of this fact until I was in a conference with them.

Verda Dierzen School I would recommend to anyone without question. The staff are extremely caring and totally focused on the overall wellbeing of your child. From transitioning into Kindergarden and the routines that go along with that, down to a variety of academic approaches to learning, but with a well chosen level for each child. The teachers try where possible to focus individual attention on each child as appropriate - and really come across as very attuned to each childs seperate needs. My daughter has loved her time so far at this school, and I know will miss it a great deal come the end of this year. If you have a child going into kindergarden this fall, and you live in or near to Woodstock, I would suggest you go and check it out.
