The lessons are well below me. I talked to an eighth grader in yearbook, her science assignment was to find shapes in nature! They give you those kinds of assignments in second grade at the charter school i attended before middle school. They had us learning eighth grade math in fith grade there, in history we were up to the 1800's! Major downgrade as far as quality goes.

I just started middle school, and overall the school is pretty good. It has great teachers, good food, and fun sports. The only downpoint is that the 8th graders are mean and rude sometimes.

I have had 3 of my children in Sullivan one has completed their middle school with great results. The second is completing 8th grade this year and my third child is completing 6th grade. They are a very disciplened school with high morals as how children should act towards each other and towards their teachers. They have always helped the kids when needed which is great since so many times kids get lost in the shuffle.

Quality of academic programs has been steadily degrading. There music program has not been consistently supported by a feeder program from the elemetary school so it has suffered to; however the teacher has done great with the tools she has at her disposal and considering the obstacles she faces. The level of parent involvement in 'activities' is excellent. The parent involvement in the classroom is much less than at the elementary school.
