This is a great school! My daughter is in the SH class and has so much opportunity to be with children that are not special needs and help her to increase her knowledge. It is a SHAME that this school is closing.
My daughter has been at El Sobrante since Kindergarten and I've found all of her teachers to be really supportive. I appreciate the diversity of both students and teachers at the school. I'm grateful for the after school program and the autoskills computer based program. I like that it's a small school and the principal knows my daughter's name.
So many other schools have field trips. What is the problem? Our kids deserve some special outing, museum or a play.
