Great School! Excellent curriculum and staff. Loving and safe environment for my child. I highly recommend Emmanuel Preschool!

I disagree with the previous two postings. The old staff at Emmanuel preschool were unqualified and lazy. They did not care about the children. The staff would rather sit and gossip instead of supervising or actively engaging my child in an activity. I am glad the old staff is no longer there. The school needed a fresh improvement.

I agree with the previous post - our child attended this school over the past year and we all absolutely loved the school - but when it comes right down to it - it was the teachers we adored. Now the new administration (school & church) seem to have different ideas that they can't really seem to explain thus they've released about 10 long time dedicated teachers. We were told the changes are due to the decrease in enrollment, then we were told this came from the Bishop - so we really don't know. We do know that many of us were there because of the recommendations of others as result of the loving staff. Now everyone is new so what good is the recommendation? Families were not told of the imminent changes thus very disappointed - many have withdrawn from the school. Sad situation to what was a great school.

I loved this school for the first part of our child's year there. However, the new administration is changing way too many significant elements, effecting the quality of care, the flexibility of hours, as well as the overall feel of the school. Many of the teachers have been forced to retire before they'd intended and a younger, less experienced (probably more economical) group of teachers are in the process of being hired. I'm sure the school will work for some students, but we wanted more for our child and were sadly disappointed to see the teachers being treated so poorly. The teachers were truly caring, knowledgeable, patient and kind. They handled all problems with dignity and tact, and kept communication with the parents open at all times. I hope the school will learn to transition through this growing period and continue to direct their focus accordingly.
