Hacienda Science/Environmental Magnet School

I have two children who attend Hacienda. It is a great school with a fabulous principal. The science program is top notch, and the outdoor classroom is amazing. It really is what makes Hacienda so special. Not to mention the great music program and the overwhelming parent participation. It can be a difficult school to get into, because any child in the San Jose Unified School District can attend as long as they are chosen from the lottery that is held each year. However it is worth it, because it is a well rounded school that values it's children and their educational experience beyond workbooks and tests.

Hacienda is absolutely the best school here in San Jose. The teachers and volunteers highly motivates the students in school curriculum. They are very advance and the magnet program really helps the students.
