Gunderson was an awesome school. I graduated from Gunderson in 2007. The teachers there were great. You have a lot of teachers there that really care about the students and want to see them succeed in everything they do. Going into High school, my parents choice was that they wanted me go to Leland. Luckily for me I got into Gunderson and I LOVED it. Gunderson had to be some of the best years of my life so far! Its very diverse, so you learn a lot about other nationalities, and cultures. And to be completely honest, I think that the teachers there are what helped me to graduate. I used to not give a care in the world about school, but they really pushed me and were always there for me. I think all the people who hate on this school are just ignorant and closed minded. Thats all! thanx!

I am a student here at gunderson... its my final year as i am part of the class of 09.... i believe that gunderson is a school like any other though it allows a student to become comfertable in a surrounding of their choosing.... personally i have met a great staff which has challenged me to be better... now im the san jose leadership student of the year as of the class of 08(being that ony juniors are able to recieve the title) only 4 out of the last five years have been gunderson student..... the 1 was i believe lincoln four years ago...... this award is a reflection of the enviorment present at gunderson.... i just cant believe that im almost done here.....
