it is a small school but it is a very good school. they work well with the kids.they take time w/ them.

As a parent of a second grader at airline park i find the teachers there have a unity among themselves ware as no bickering or backstabing as you would see at some area elementary schools! Just a fantastic place to watch my child grow into a fine young man! Ms. McVille! Keep up the good attitude at airline park! A school with a bright future and a system that works well!

My daughter attends Airline Park Elementary school. Last year she was in the pre-k 3 program and now is currently pre-k 4 program. So for obvious reasons I can only comment on the pre-k programs. The teachers for these little ones are extremely talented and nurturing. It was real imporant to me that my daughters learning experiences incorporated lots of art and hands on projects. I can honestly tell you that these two programs have given her that. This is a very small school and parent involvement is always welcome and appreciated. The principle seems to know every student by name and does not put up with disruptiveness. As far as being able to be on school grounds I have always been told to get a pass first.

Overall, I really like Airline Park Elementary. I like most of the teachers, the school is clean, and I love the teachers over the child care program as well. The principal runs a tight ship. However, the lack of following guidelines on checking children out of school concerns me. I went to the office to check my child out for a doctor appointment. The secretary didn't know my name, or the name of my child, but instructed me to 'go ahead and get my child from the classroom', since I knew where it was. No pass, no asking for my ID, nothing. Pretty scary!
