My son just finished 1st grade at Towne Acres and it was a rocky year for him. We had a teacher that expected too much perfection for a class of 6 and 7 year olds. The principal is wonderful and I have no doubts about my son's safety at Towne Acres. He met other teachers and is looking forward to being in their classes as he progresses through elementary school. Overall I would reccommend this school to others but with the warning of some teachers not be very kid friendly.
My son is finishing six years at Towne Acres school. The school has gone through many chages, construction, security, teacher turnovers. We have lost many good teachers (Mrs. Redman), gained and excellent principal (Mr. Barnett), kept some great teachers (Mrs. Gilbert, Mr. Moore, Coach Whaley) but still harbor at least one bully teacher. This is typical of any school in the US but all in all, Towne Acres is an excellent school and it has been a very good six years. We will miss Towne Acres.
My daughter is just finishing 2nd grade at Towne Acres. We have had three great years. Parents are very involved at this school which makes it a great place!
My son has started Kindergarten this year and I am very impressed with Towne Acres. Everyone we have had contact with has eased mine and my son's anxieties about starting school.
