Lely is a dynamic school and has great educators and it all starts with the top down. The principal, Kathrine Stewart motivates and supports the teachers making it a great learning environment for our children. They get my vote!

Lely is a spectacular elementary school! I've had two children attend Lely. One is in 3rd grade and the other has moved on to middle school. The staff is family-oriented with a loving and caring principal. The diverse population has taught my children about other cultures. The academic program is awesome from Art, Music, Technology, PE, to ROAR! We have many caring volunteer parents and grandparents that continually give of themselves to help our Lely Lions grow in mind and spirit! The administrative team is just that, a team! They are dedicated to all children and families! Our instructional staff is out-of-this-world! They continually strive to reach all students so that no one is left behind! The support staff is friendly and ready to lend a helping hand. Lely Elementary is truly a great place for all students to learn and develop for their future education!

Lely is a very nice quiet school. Everyone knows everyone. I think the communication between parents and teachers could be better. I also think that Lely has a great school staff. It's nice because if you walk into the school and need help with your child in any way.You will recieve the help you need. Anytime i need to talk to the guidence counclor it does not matter if she in on a deadline or on her way to a meeting. She will answer any questions you have and will be patient to sit there and listen to your problems with your child or who ever might be the problem. And they do their best to try to accomidate students with dissabilities or adhd or even a mild learning disibilitiy. They don't shove them off to the side or send them to a different school unless need be.

Lely Elementary is a great school. It has taken me leaving and having to shop for another school to realize just how special this school really is. The academics are fantastic. They implent a Phonemics program which has taught my first grader to actively participate and is now reading better than I every thought was possible for a first grader. The staff expects a lot from the students because they know the students are capable. They offer specials every day including P.E., Technology (computers), music, art, and R.O.A.R. (reading challenges). They offer separate playgrounds for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the big kids (all fenced and secured!). I will have to say as far as parental involvement is concerned, there isn't a whole lot. This could be a lack of communication to parents of how they can become involved. Overall, I am pleased with Lely Elementary!
