My boys first year was a roller coaster ride to say the least. The teachers had there good and bad as all schools do but the trend that I see is that teachers want respect but continually fail to respect the children. As the school year goes on I see the same things in schools, the teachers loose thier tempor and respect goes out the window. Then begins the downward spiraling of the children hating their school and wanting to learn. In the end Tres Rio's is not an acception to this failing of the public school system. Hire more teachers to spread out the overwhelming numbers of students to teachers ratio. Allocate money away from vandelism repair to the students welfare and education. There is more to be said but I will leave that to someone else.

Not happy about my daughters first year at this school at all. The drop off and pick up situation was horrible(completely unorganized, sometimes I think my child could have been picked up by anyone who tried). Parent/teacher interaction was limited, I only knew what was going on in class if I asked or on open house nights. I would like to think it was only because this was the schools 1st year and it has some things to go over and make better for the following year but I am taking my child out of the district. I can't sit and wait and hope my child doesnt fall behind while the school is getting everything in order.
