By and large, TRHS has a great faculty comprised of teachers who really care, and many spirited extra curricular activities for the kids. Yet, the Principal's so-called 'leadership' is divisive, exclusionary and exemplifies a 'do as I say, not as do' (hypocritical) form of 'leadership', which negatively impacts the school's climate/ morale for both faculty and students. The Principal enforces rules and policies of the school and District on a selective, convenient, subjective basis. He often has a 'deaf ear' / 'shut door' to thoughts opposing his own, and often takes punitive measures against one who does not concur with him, regardless of the merit of his/her/their ideas otherwise. He allows Church and State to mix in school events, alienating those who have backgrounds and beliefs other than those predominant in the community. TRHS is not a picture of 21st American democracy or ideals, despite its 'global' mission theoretically/ on paper.

I felt staff did not get adequate support from school administration. Safety and discipline were a concern for our students while at school. The principal needs to genuinely support his teachers and listen to parents concerns as well.

This is a new school, and most of the teachers are great, but the leadership of the principal is terrible! New leadership is needed, and the disc office needs to wake up. They don't pay attention to the parents of students. The kids are great and the teachers are wonderful, and it has the makings of a really nice school.
