I graduated from Nature Coast Tech H.S. in 2008 and I can honestly say that although the school got in a lot of messes with their athletic department, I learned a lot academically. I was in the Health and Human service Cluster and in my senior year I decided to change to T.V. Production. Having the option of the T.V. Production cluster helped me realize what I wanted to do with my future, and I m currently attending a 4 year college studying communications. I have to thank NCT for offering the classes that opened my eyes up to what I truly have passion for. Yes, the school is receiving a lot of negative media right now, but I wouldn t have enjoyed my time at any other high school. While I attended the school it was still new only been open one year prior to my attendance, and having the options of this school helped prevent my parents from sending me to the Catholic high school. I recommend this school to anyone and I still talk about it with high regards to their academics, not just their athletics.
My daughter is a senior this year and transferred to that school from East lake in her junior year. She has been doing great at Nature Coast .. Seems to be a lot less drama and more attention to academics . Love the scheduling of classes as even and odd days . Other schools by the time you get into the lesson time is up . This way the classes are longer and you have less of them on a daily basis.. Great school .
Our experience with Nature Coast has been exceptional. With the volume of students they still give the sense of individual attention and really care. 5 Star
Simply outstanding! mrs. Schoelles and the teachers really deserve all of the credit. My son just graduated and i was very pleased with his accomplishments at nchs.. I know that he will move on in his life, but one thing for sure he will always be proud to have been a nature coast shark. Thank you for giving my son the opportunity. Mrs. M.
