The band program is amazing, the teachers are wonderful and my daughter has the best guidance counselor; she is having a wonderful experience=)

i think this school is the perfect school for a student to attend. Every one there is freindly and there are bunch of clubs, sports that everyone can get involed with. Even tho the tardie rule is a little bad but we should all have time to get to one clss to the other, a good school to learn resposibliy i would choose this school for any student to go 2.

I am now going to be a junior at the school. I belief it's an okay school. Even though I may not agree with alot. First of administrators should treat students equally. And the tardy policy is just ridiculous they should give us more time to get to class. I mean like seriously its way to overcrowded how do they expect us to get anywhere at a fast pace?.

I think ERHS is overall a good school. Although overcrowding is a major flaw, I think one would be hard pressed to find a school in the district without overcrowding issues. As a junior at East Ridge, I think teachers are usually good, although they usually vary with the caliber of the students-- most of the AP teachers, for instance, are great, whereas general teachers can be disinterested and uninteresting. As for the issue of being late because of classes being too far apart, the campus is set up so that classes in similar fields and taken by the same grade are near each other. For instance, freshmen have their own building, and they rarely need to leave it except for electives. Overall it's a good school, but has room for improvement, especially in the honors classes-- pushing honors-level students into AP courses is never a good idea.
