I graduated from Council Rock South in 2004. And although it is very true about the bubbles that go on at the school. I can honestly say that I would not have wanted to attend any other school. The teachers are wonderful and it is a beautiful campus. I felt very lucky to attend a school that could open so many doors for me with teacher who actually took the time to help you.and a wonderful principle who actually go involved in making it a great school.. who cares about the students There were those unhappy days because it does seem to have more than it's fair share of stuck up kids ( more than other schools).. but that's life. It's an amazing school. I am in college to be a teacher because of the experience I recieved there. :)

I am a recent graduate of the school, and I don't think I could have been better prepared for college. While many of my peers struggled to adjust to the size and having to write critically, I excelled. I attribute this directly to my course load at Rock. The AP programs are tied in very tightly with similar college programs. If a parents is worried about pulling a kid from a private school into public, Rock South will ease your tension. It is a great enviroment. The only thing to be worried about is the driving situation, as many of the juniors who drive there are not prepared to drive and accidents occur. Other than that, there is very little to complain about. I only wish South had been open my entire high school stay!

This school has its good points and its bad points. If you have an extremely gifted student, an above average, significantly motivated child, or a student with learning disabilities, this school offers tremendous resources. For the average or mediocre student, who has not been officially labeled learning disabled, this highly competitive school could pose problems. Kids, who in other school districts would most likely be in the top half of the class, are likely to be found in the bottom half of the class here and are often advised to go to Community College or cosmetology school. There are so many 'gifted' 'honors' and 'outside tutored' students here that students who receive average grades often think of themselves as stupid and are quite frequently overlooked and/or recommended for lower level classes.
