Friendship Valley Elementary School

I am a new teacher at FVE and thus far have thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The students are wonderful and the staff is professional and for the most part very friendly. It is obvious that as a school community, we are providing each student with the highest quality education.

I am grandmother of Carmen Mora (gr.4 student) and I attended a musical concert on 6/4/04 morning. It was not only entertaining but the quality was magnificent. The band and chorus groups sounded like a high school concert and I attribute that to the dynamic and enthusiastic direction by both Mr. Stimmel and Ms. Isacs. I was impressed with the quality and ability of students learning to play their instruments as well as they did and the enthusiasm they showed in their performances. Both teachers certainly displayed their love of music and teaching. I had attended another elementary school concert earlier this week and it certainly could NOT compare in quality and/or performance. I was also impressed with the fact that the principal, Dr. Dorsey had not only accompanied the band with her piano playing but she also personally brought a chair over for me to sit in during the show.
