A new principal arrived in August 2004, and I hope many of you have seen a big difference in the school environment. Administration and staff are working hard to make IFS one of the best Islamic schools around. Academics - IFS offers 6 advanced placement classes to high school students, and the plan is to add another one this year. Also included with AP classes are honors and a regular track. Co-Curricular activies for the year included Boys' Middle/High School Basketball; Girls' Middle/High School Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer; Art Club; Snowball; Student Council; National Honor Society; Math-n-Tech Club; Robotics; Sisters' Poetry Club; Middle/High/Elementary Book Clubs; Girls' Dawaa Club; and Middle School Math Club. IFS students participate in regional spelling bees, science fairs, Math Counts, and inter-islamic school competitions. Feel free to visit the school, and see the quality of the school for yourself.
