Meridian Academy is a high school now based in Coolidge Corner in Brookline that uses an interdisciplinary approach to help students answer their own questions about the world

I love that my daughter is excited about school and what she is learning and that what she is learning is authentic!
It is actually 6-10 now and will be 6-12 in 2011. The teachers are deeply vested in the project-based curriculum and the students' work and attitude illustrate how successful this is (very). It is a small school so the kids have to get along and for the most part they do. No sports and no prom, but does have drama, art, music and the best field trips on the planet. Also reasonable cost compared to schools with a plot of real estate they have to maintain!

This project-based, interdisciplinary school supports students in posing theirown quesions and carrying out original research in all disciplines. It is for students with genuine curiosity who want more than endless uninspiring tests.
