It has been said that the strength of a business is only as great as its leadership. That statement is true even for the school system. I had been a part of the educational sytem for quite a few years before locating to this district. I heard several parents state their dissatifaction with the elementary administration on many occassions and dismissed it as small town talk. That is until my child entered the school system and I found their concerns were quite valid. The elementary administration does not have much (if any) positive contact with the students or staff. They are inconsistent with their dealings with students and parents. It seems their is a hierachy system to their decision making. There is a real lack of pride in this school and it's sadly reflected in the staff as well. Hopefully, at some point, administrative changes will be made.

If you want your child treated as though they are nothing more then a criminal then this is the school to put them in. That starts in 1st grade and gets no better the older they get. The teachers are there to teach only other teachers kids or business owners kids. If any of the other kids learn anything then so be it but they don't really give a hoot about the other kids. This school still hands out corporal punishment daily. At lunch the kids are not permitted to talk til most of their lunch is eaten and if they do they are moved to sit alone. For being a public school it is run as though it is their private school and the taxpayer is only there to foot the bill.
