My son is about to go into first grade at Kennesaw. He was there last year for Kindergarten and loved it! He has spent several days this summer literally crying to go back to school! He had Ms. Dispain & Mrs. Townsend were his teachers and both were fantastic! He had less than 20 kids in his class, which is a very low number and I was pleased w/ everything...especially the teacher/parent communication. It was a wonderful experience and we are so excited to start this new school year at KES!
Great school, great teachers. My daughter just completed her kindergarten year and really loves school and honestly can't wait until next year.
My child went to kes, in 2005-2207. I love the schools and the teacher their. I also use to work in the asp, with the student and let me tell you, these kids are wonderful students and the asp staff is also wonderful. I moved to montgomery alabama in 2007. I don't like the school system here are the teachers. My husband is in the marines and we got transfer to here. I would give anything to go back to kennesaw. My kids love kennesaw and so do I.This is a great place tp live and a wonderful school system.
We have had 2 children at KES & have had exceptional teachers with each of them. Mrs. Fenstermaker, Mrs. Chasteen & Mrs. Salinas ( now in administration) are outstanding professionals who truly love your child & challenge him/her. Both of our children loved KES. We did give Big Shanty a try for our oldest, however we knew within weeks we would be going to private school. The office staff at Big Shanty was terrific, the teachers were just not as caring or challenging as KES. Too bad. We were blessed to have had such a wonderful expereince at KES. Incidentally, this point of view comes from a person who was raised by 'teacher parents' & works in a private college prep school, so I think I have a pretty good baromoter for exceptional teaching
