This school is awesome. Its a warm environment, the teachers are the most caring and compassionate people, always going the extra mile

My wife and I send our three children to RA and are very happy with their education. Their core values are stressed on an ongoing basis, and children are rewarded for good behavior. They offer wonderful extracurricular opportunities, and their arts programs are GREAT (and I'm tough on this one, I'm an arts educator). Frankly, I don't understand the parents who feel that teachers and administration don't communicate well with parents. Except for a couple times last year, we never had to wait longer than 24 hours for a response to an email or phone call, and it often came the same day--a far cry from their former school. I truly feel valued at my children's school and invested in their education. I trust RA to do their level best to educate my children, but know that I have to do my part. Thank you, Renaissance Academy.

I debated on sending my daugher to another local Private school but this one is A+. This is my daughter's 3rd year (kinder, 1st, 2nd). She is motivated by the positive feedback and constant congrats for good behavior and hard work. Her reading is now at a 5th grade level and her other grades are excellent. I owe this to the awesome teachers at RA. Not all teachers need to be 'warm and fuzzy' to do a good job. I have to say, most parents I talk to who do not favor the school have a 'behaviorly challanged' child and want to point the finger at the teachers/school. I am not a parent who's child can do no wrong. I AM a parent who in confident that the school will handle the situation appropriately should she be out of line. Speaking for the lower grades, great school!

We have two children in RA, one in 5th and one in 9th. I attended a private school and find the education at RA to be very similar to what I received. My son entered in 4th grade and was reading at the lower end of that grade level. Now he is in 9th grade and on a college reading level. Our daughter is in 5th and reading on a 9th grade level. The only problem we have had has nothing to do with the teachers, but with the children who are behavior problems. Though these children are reprimanded, it is unfortunate that the punishments are not stronger. My son and daughter love the school, and I would not think of sending them anywhere else.
