I love this school because through all my kids attending the same high school I have been very pleased with the performance of both my kids and the teachers.
I think this school is great! All the teachers, faculty, and students are great! Ben Lo-mond is like one big happy family! Everybody is really nice. Come to Ben Lomond High, and see for yourself, it is really a great school and has a friendly environment! Just excellent!
I moved to this school in the middle of my freshman year. Compared to my former school and the school I go to now, this school flys extremely below the radar. The kids and teachers are nice and they seem to get along but it really doesn't get them ready for the real world. The teacher-student ratio is not proportional to where the student can't get one-on-one time with the teacher if they need help. It also seems like they don't care as much for the students' grades as alot of my former teachers from my first high school did. I have never had such low grades in my life until I went there. They aren't strict when it comes to electronic device use at school, which personally I come to dislike in a couple ways because it really does affect how kids do in school. It interrupts them too much.
My student recently moved from another state. He was struggling in his last school because his classes were too large and he didn't feel he was getting the help he needed to be successful. Since enrolling at Ben Lomond, his grades have improved dramatically, he's comfortable in his classes and with his teachers and for the first time, truly enjoys going to school. Add to this the cultural diversity in the school and the complete renovation that's going on now, and as a parent I couldn't be happier. There may have been some struggles in the past, but from where I stand, it looks as though there is quite a bit of improvement going on.
