My daughter graduated this spring from the IB program where she did very well. She's on to college this fall and I am extremely happy with the college preparation and coursework offered by the school and the IB program. In addition, the students participating in the program are exceptional scholastically and as young people. I was amazed at the 3-4 hours of homework a night especially in the first couple years but if your goal is to prepare your kid for college, this is the way to go.
This school worries more about inconsequential things like dress code and cell phones than it does about academics and budgets. It needs to focus more on the students and less on what their wearing, because tightening the leash is only going to make them rebel even more.

This school is simply amazing. Weather you are in the IB(International Baccalaureate) program, which is an advanced learning program for students, or Drama, or even into Athletics, you will always find something at Ridgeview. The schools food is actually worth eating and paying for. Ridgeview is the only Clay County High School that has one lunch period which is a priveliage, and you can eat anywhere in the school you would like. School has great teachers in a decent learning enviroment. The downside(s) are that the schools students arent disiplined enough to know not to pick on each other, and Ridgeview isnt a 'welcoming' school. Everyone has there group and that is where they stay, which leads to lack of cominication.

Ridgeview has progressed over the years. Teachers getting hired create new learning environments. The school has an awesome sports addition. Students come out Friday nights supporting their panther pride. Every school has its flaws but Ridgeview has very few. The school is nice and clean. The teachers are pretty good at what they do. Also, the students get along with just about everyone. We are one big team verseing the next.
