The principal is very sweet and loves the kids at the school. It is just the best school in Fayette County.

My husband and I have two daughters at Grandview in 3rd and 5th grade. We love the school, teachers, and principal. Both girls been there since K and have had very caring and dedicated teachers. We believe the teachers do the best with what they have. Unfortunately, the community and the kids are changing. Thanks to all of the teachers that have made a difference on our children's lives!

What happened to all the caring teachers that are supposed to be here to help our children when they ask for help and not demand them to go sit down and figure it out? Or is just underskilled people that don't know how to help? And what happened to getting parents involved? What kind of teacher wods and throws a 5th grade students paper in the trash and then takes it out and gives it back to them? Is this what our schools have become? No child will be left behind? Please define that for me please! I am having a hard time with that considering you have certain adults in this school acting more immature than our children attending. Kinda hard to teach something we as adults still are having a hard time with. Treat our children with the respect and dignity you would like to be treated with.

The principal is a very hands on and caring principal. The school has some teachers that really don't care about the students and then some that will do anything to help a student. I think though that there are too many students in a class to help those that are truely stuggling and need individual care. These children need one on one help and with all public schools there is overcrowding and chaos. I do like the school as a whole and what this school represents, they do try thier best with the policy of no child will be left behind, but all in all, it is too hard of a task when they have 25 children in a classroom.
