The teachers don't teach, they collect a paycheck. My child has F's, and not one time was I contacted in any way by a teacher to let me know there was a problem. No grades were ever posted to Edline, which I check weekly, so I would know there was a problem. When I asked why edline is not used and updated I was told that some of the teachers don't use it. There are computers in the classes, the teachers are sitting in front of them, make it mandatory that they put the kids grades in there so us parents can keep up and do our job! We cannot help and push our children if we do not know they need the help. Edline has been available for six years, use it!!
I think that this school needs more discipline than freedom there is no teachers on lunch duty outside and ther need to be.
Great school. In the last few years this school has moved forward. Many great programs for all students and a progressive administration. Test scores on the rise. On the way to the top.
As a substitute, I was surprised to find a lack of control in the classroom as well as in the hallways. Overall, I think the school could use a dramatic overhaul.
