Bel Air Elementary School

It is my opinion that Mrs. Angela Cook 3rd grade Teacher at Bel-Air Elementary should be acknowledged for her valuable teaching ability. Mrs. Cook builds and molds the future academic endeavors and successes of our Children. The value of her achievements can not be overemphasized. It has been my experience, however, that parents and students alike often give teachers such as Mrs. Cook a hard time because of the time and effort she requires of herself & students, especially at the 3rd-grade level. Kids are never too young to be taught how to learn, and a parent would be hard pressed to give their child more academic challenges than they could handle. When our children complain about too much homework or we as parents don't take the time out of our busy lives to sit down with our kids and help them with challenging assignments, it's easy to blame teachers for expecting so much of our children. But who really ends up being hurt? So many kids leave high school with no sense of who they are and what they want to be when they grow up. They are never too young to work hard and be expected to do their best in school, and in life, for that matter. Our Son has set some pretty lofty goals for himself, and the only way He will be able to accomplish those goals is if He starts working very hard towards those goals--and now, in the third grade. My husband and I don't push our Son to succeed, He has to do that himself. He knows his goals are his and his alone, and that accomplishing them will benefit himself and others, earning him the self confidence lacking in so many kids today. That is the attitude we should be instilling in our children, and Mrs. Cook is one of the few teachers I can personally rely on to teach our Son at school as much as we teach him at home. Thank you for your time, and thank you for investing in our child's future that really make a difference in Our life. Teachers just like Mrs. Cook!And the Bel-Air School- Excellent!

Awesome School! My son is in his third year (2nd grader) here and I could not hope for a better education. He is a straight A student, with perfect attendance and loves going to school, learning, having fun and makeing new and lasting friendships. The faculty and staff are very welcoming, supportive & encouraging of every student. I only wish my early years had been as wonderful as his are.

My daughter went to school here and she liked it and it amazed me on how patient they were with her with adhd!!

I really want to thank you all for the changes you have done. I have noticed how my kids are now more well dressed(thank YOU).It was crazy the first day, but i know it is going to be worth it.All the teachers are doing a excellent job.
