I am going to be a freshman at Athens High School and even though I am not yet enrolled, the school is very excellent. They have expanded their foreign language to two choices now. Those are French and Spanish. The music program is growing and I am in the band. They are planning on splitting up the band. That's how big the program is growing! The teachers there are terrific anf they do help individual students who need it. They have added more choices for students to pick from for their schedules. The school is terrific and I can't wait till I'm an official student of Athens High School. Home of the Hornets.
I am a grandparent, I don,t think the school is concerened with the child that might be a little different, adhd, delexia,a little slow.I have tried to get an appointment with the principle for over 8weeks, she has yet to acknowledg me,after calling, goinging to the office, leaving messages. It is all about money and looking good on paper

This school is just not cut out to teach students, I have been very dissapointed in the learning, i dont like it, no one does, several of my peers are either switching schools or graduating early next year. no one enjoys the day to day experience here at AHS. I hope in the coming years they can shape this school up.
