I took my first grader son out of a regular public school when he was horribly sad and not wanting to go (his teacher was awful). He now loves school and is learning at an alarming pace. His teacher is fun, happy, and enjoys teaching, and the kids in her class enjoy learning. This is a caring invironment with the best teachers and support staff on earth. I could not be happier.

There is no other local school to which we would consider sending our children. Our six-year-old shocked us by reading phrases to us before he was two years old (among other things), and he has an intense need for intellectual stimulation that can be overwhelming. He and his sister benefit from an incredibly talented, loving, involved staff who truly take the needs of the whole child (and each and every child) into account. They give my children opportunities to work and learn ahead, yet they make sure they do not skip over material for their grades. They let them pursue their academic interests but direct them toward learning/play activities, etc. during free-play times rather than let them sit and do work sheets (as they sometimes ask to do). They make sure the kids get what they need socially as well as academically, recognize their abilities without making them feel 'different,' etc.

Joan Lepas had my son reading at the age of three. She and her staff really cares that your child come out of Educare Academy with a head start on life. The Montessori way of learning has been proven to work with great results. I love you Joan and thanks for teaching my kids. your brother Gene
