What a great school Bay County Public School Academy is. My daughter attended for 3 years. My only regret is that I did not begin her in kindergarten. The staff and teachers continue to go out of their way to make each child feel special and teach them all at their own pace. My daughter excelled in many areas but was slow in one. They worked with her. Her MEAP scores rocked this year. She will be off to middle school Extremly well prepared. Thanks Bay County Academy, she and I will both miss you.

I have one child attending this school and find it to be outstanding. It is focused on each individual student abilities to achieve It ranks up there with private schools. The school for the 2008-2009 school year has been a wonderful experience from parent involvment opportunies, to activites for parents to attend an become better educated about learning disabilites, social emotional behavior, previews of what our children are learning in school now compared to what we learned, and in depth study of social studies called paragon. I can't say enough wish I had found this school when my other children were younger. The staff is fantastic the teachers go above and beyond and the class size is aroend 17 per class give it a try you can always go back to what you have now

I have two children at Bay PSA and I could never say enough good about this school. Both of my children were accepted to the local 'gifted' program. After researching both schools I found this school had a better curriculum and focused more on individual learning than the 'gifted' program. I find it sad the local newspaper has given this school horrible publicity, it simply proves to me, you can barely believe a thing you read. If you are looking for an amazing school to place your child with High or Low achieving capabilities, this school is perfect. They teach to the child, not the classroom as a whole. Each child is assessed and giving a program to meet His or Her needs, not the needs of the child next to him or her! And they teach all the children, that all children are special, not just the gifted . 5 stars for staff and curriculum.
