I could not be happier with a school. East Picacho Elementary has excellent staff, from the Administrators to the teachers, even the janitorial staff is involved with the children's learning and well-being. The teaching staff is professionalin their dress and attitude. Yet they still show the students love and care. They strive hard to help the students not only to learn, but to enjoy the learning process so they will want to learn more. The programs are well rounded. While I would like to see more fine arts such as music and art; there is some of all that plus physical education. The school tries to have extracurricular activities. The courses that are taught encourage thinking, not just rote repetition. There is cooperation between the teachers of each grade that enables all students to be taught in a equal manner.
