I sent my child to Zion for about a year and a half. She left because she was being unfairly treated by the teachers. They aren't a good school to invest in. They treat your children terrible and don't even give them updated tools in the classroom. We went to St. Lawrence O'Toole which is up the road and im telling you its a complete 360. Everything there is so much brighter. They prepare your child for High School. Zion doesn't. The 3rd graders at St. Lawrence actually switch classes while the 6th graders at Zion don't. SLOT helps our kids. They have family activites, and the teachers never stop working for you. Its a good investment. Go there and ask for a tour and you will be surprised to how little you get at Zion. SLOT has also been Blue Ribbon; and they get Science Grants.
For all those people who say Zion Stinks I say they plainly WRONG! Zion is a GOOD school and has GOOD staff. It IS a smaller school but, to think possitive it's more one ONE on ONE TIME. It is a Good school, I repeat! It has been teaching for 141 years and it has not failed yet, and i'd be TRULY PROVEN WRONG if it will be closing any time soon. I have learned mostly all I know from Zion and if anyone ever says that they are teach the wrong things, with out dated things, like computers, Then I say They are Absolutely, completely, and unquestionably WRONG! The staff has great teaching and strict determination to teach us firmly!

The faculty is caring and very thoughtful to all the students needs. However, a better health education focus needs to be implemented. The small class sizes and the one on one atmosphere really gives my child the classroom experience that will last a life time.

All four of my children are Zion Graduates. Both my wife & I agree that our chidren have grown into the succesfull Christian young men & women they are today due in large part to the education they received at Zion. Strong academics, safe nurturing enviroment, small class size, Christian values ... what else can I say. I would highly recommend this school to any family that desires success for their children.
