Canyon Elementary School

I feel that Canyon has been great for both my boys. Both of of kids were in a private school up until 2 years ago when I placed them in a public school(Canyon) and I feel their education is just as good if not better now being in Canyon. I love the staff and friends we have met and feel it is a great fit for us. Could not be happier!!

Canyon Elementary is a wonderful school committed to excellence in teaching the required academics and special academic programs to challenge whiz-kids. Classes are small. Teacher ?student ratios are low. There are ample after-school activities. Children are safe on the campus at all times and a safe environment allows a greater focus on learning. Canyon also encourages good moral character by modeling what is right, rewarding those who respond in kind and for correcting and holding the students accountable for poor choices. My daughter is in 5th grade and she loves the school, her classes, the teachers and the other students. Please keep the kids safe and drive 25 mph on Paradise Lane and 15 mph in the school zone. Thank you.

I am happy with canyon as a school all around. They have good academic programs and do lots of extracurricular activities with the kids and I think that is important as well. They is alot of parent involvement.

I like the small school atmosphere. My daughter has made many friends here and loves to attend every special event. Would like to see more challenging math classes.
